Linder Employee Profiles

BEN ENGLISH – Lead Technician

Ben has worked with Linder for 12 years in our Installation Department. He can install just about anything, but he’s the go-to guy when it comes to a/v work.  There are lots of girls in Ben’s life, including his fiance, his two daughters, and Isabella, his Doberman Pinscher. He loves Japanese food, including sushi, and his favorite vacation spot is Daytona Beach.  When asked why he likes working at Linder, Ben says it’s the “great team and quality work.”  Well, that and the fact that our office is very close to some awesome sushi spots!

TODD ESTES – Vice President, Sales

Todd has been with Linder Security for over 15 years so he has a vast knowledge about our industry and how our products and services can best serve our customers’ needs.  His favorite foods are meat and potatoes, although he’s been known to  enjoy a giant plate of nachos, too! Todd loves playing golf, listening to John Mayer, watching the Falcons, and spending time with his family. He loves to travel and his favorite spot to vacation is in the Caribbean!  He and his wife, Lesley, love taking their dog, Sundance, out for long walks.

SHARLA GREEN – Office Manager

Life at the Green home sounds pretty fun, with a blues-guitar-playing teenage son, Austin, husband, Don, 2 “bonus” daughters, 2 grandchildren, and don’t forget Cubbie, Maggie, and Bailey, her 3 adorable dogs!  Sharla has over 25 years in the security industry; 12 of them right here at Linder.  Around here, if Sharla doesn’t know the answer, then nobody knows the answer!  She loves the Cubs, rhythm ‘n’ blues, and seafood, especially if it’s served in Palm Coast, Florida, her favorite vacation spot.  Sharla says she has “always admired the integrity and work ethic of the (Linder) leadership and employees.”

CHARLES HANKEY – Vice President

Charles joined Linder way back in 1985, which makes him the longest running employee after our founder, Tad Linder.  A native Atlantan, Charles is married with three grown children. He loves to play golf and especially enjoys relaxing at his home in the north Georgia mountains.  He even hosts an annual fishing tournament up there! His favorite song? Hotel California by The Eagles.  This writer gives him two thumbs up for his taste in music!

DANA LINDSAY – Director of Marketing

Dana has been with the company for almost 5 years, but has been a Linder client for over 20 years!  She is a native Atlantan, is married with three children, ages 13, 18, and 22.  She is also mom to an 80 lb. “puppy” named Lilly and a fat black cat named Bob.  Her favorite food is “anything Chinese,” and her favorite musician is Elton John, although she’s rather fond of newer groups like Mumford & Sons and Fleet Foxes.  In her “spare time,” she’s in graduate school, pursuing a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling.  What does she like about Linder? “We fit our products to the customer, not the other way around.”

JEFF McDONALD – Service Technician

Jeff has been a part of the Linder family for 19 years…and he’s worn almost as many hats as years of service!  Seems that everyone wants Jeff on their team, and we’re sure some clients would like him living right next door.  There’s almost nothing he can’t fix!  He and his wife have a spoiled Labrador Retriever, who loves to go with him on hunting trips.  Hailing from Syracuse, New York, Jeff attributes the Braves’ past 19 years of success to his move south. “They stunk until I got here,” he reports.  Maybe he can work his magic on all of our sports teams!

WOODY MARTIN – Service Manager

You’ve read about how great Linder’s Service Department is, and it’s due in no small part to Woody being at the helm!  He’s been with Linder for 25 years, so you can’t stump him with a question he hasn’t handled before! He’s a fan of the Atlanta Falcons and the Ole Miss Rebels, since his daughter and his wallet now go there!  Favorite musician? Talented songwriter, Neil Young. Favorite vacation spot? “Arrogantly shabby” Pawley’s Island, South Carolina.  When he’s not answering your service questions, he can usually be found fly fishing, hunting quail, or playing guitar.  Pretty cool way to spend some down time, to me!

ADAM WALKER – Technician

Adam is a tall drink of water, but he’ll be the first to tell you he’s a tenderhearted and sensitive guy.  Our most recent employee, he came to us with great industry skills and was ready to get to work!  Adam enjoys hanging out with friends, especially if there’s Mexican food involved.  He is married to Melissa and has two sons, Micah and Jace.  Adam says his favorite song is “I Have Been Blessed,” by C. T. Townsend, and his faith is demonstrated daily in his ever-present smile. We are blessed to have him be a part of our Linder family!
